WORLD ALZHEIMER’S MONTH HIGHLIGHTS DEMENTIA IMPACT

September is World Alzheimer’s Month, and a striking statistic is highlighting just how many Manitobans are being affected by dementia.

More than 20-thousand people in the province are currently living with dementia — with about nine Manitobans developing it every day.

Crawford also discusses warning signs, misconceptions surrounding dementia and why it isn’t simply a normal part of aging.
